On this episode, the team visits Whites Point tide pools in search of mussels and clams. Mussels are commonly found in the mid inter tidal zone and can create vast beds. They are a common food source for many animals. The team visits the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium to learn about their mussels and adaptations they have to survive. The episode finishes with a trip to Catalina Offshore products to visit Fish Monger Tommy Gomes to hear about how they are grown and different types available for consumption
